André Rieu (born October 1, 1949, in Maastricht, Netherlands) is a world-renowned Dutch violinist, conductor, and composer, best known for popularizing classical music through his vibrant and accessible performances. He is the founder of the Johann Strauss Orchestra, which he established in 1987 and grew into one of the world’s largest private orchestras.
